美國大聯盟台北時間9日進行選秀，今年游擊手最搶手，響尾蛇隊選了Dansby Swanson，他是今年選秀的「選秀狀元」。
除了Dansby Swanson，太空人隊選了Alex Bregman，洛磯隊則選了Brendan Rodgers，這3名球員都是游擊手，也就是說，今年大聯盟選秀前三名獲選的球員都是守游擊的好手。
Dansby Swanson來自田納西州的Vanderbilt大學，他是自1974年布朗大學 Bill Almon之後，第1位大學游擊手成為選秀狀元，而太空人隊緊接著選了LSU的Alex Bregman，大聯盟選秀狀元及榜眼都是游擊手，則是自 1982年小熊隊Shawon Dunston以及藍鳥隊Augie Schmidt之後的第1次。
洛磯隊選了來自佛羅里達的高中游擊手Brendan Rodgers，第四順位的遊騎兵隊選了加州大學的右投Dillon Tate。
